Types of Coverage

Claims-Made Coverage - provides coverage for incidents that both occur and are reported while the policy is in force. When a claims-made policy is terminated, claims arising from incidents that occurred during the policy period but reported after the policy is terminated are not covered unless a reporting endorsement/tail or prior acts coverage is secured.

Occurrence Coverage – provides coverage for incidents that occur during the policy period regardless of the report date.  No reporting endorsement is required upon policy cancellation.
